John Chamberlin

John spent his early years in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area before moving with his family to North Branch, Minnesota. He attended North Branch Middle and High School and later spent 3 semesters at the Art Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently, John is a senior at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis where he is majoring in Illustration. He hopes to receive his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2010.

John designed and received his first tattoo at age 18 and has been hooked ever since. Some of his work was done by Brian Qualley of Happily Ever After Tattoos and in 2006 Brian accepted John as an apprentice. John is now a full time tattoo artist at Happily Ever After Tattoos while still attending Mcad. He likes to design tattoos for clients using his artistic skills to translate ideas and set them down on paper for the client to see. John loves the challenge of transferring his designs to living flesh where the interplay of shading, coloring, light and dark surfaces blend together to create the finished product on the clients skin.

John suggests that you visit Happily Ever After Tattoos and check out the hundreds of pre-designed pieces (flash), or bring your drawings and ideas to him to create a one of a kind tattoo that will say something unique about you. Appointments are recommended, walk ins accepted as time permits. Call 651-674-0320.
