| Tattoo...an everlasting mark in the flesh. But what about the spirit? What about eternal ink? | |
| Whether a tattoo artist or tattoo enthusiast, we think of our art as permamanent- an everlasting mark that time may somewhat fade, but never completely remove. It's one of the most permanent alterations we can make to the flesh...but what about the spirit? What about ink that is eternal? | |
|
Imagine...eternal
ink. An ink so rare, you would sell all that you own to obtain it. But
it can't be bought. It's not for sale. Yet you can posses it because
it is freely given. Eternal ink is a sworn covenant, written in Holy Blood. And it's free. It has to be free because you can't be good enough to deserve the Master Tattooist's ink...nor can you be bad enough to be denied His work. Now God doesn't do cover-ups. He only inks a clean canvas. Yes He knows you are all marked up with bad ink and bad words that have condemned your spirit and scarred your soul. But through the miracle of rebirth, God's forgiveness will wash away all your sin, all the bad ink of your life. Then perfect love will guide His hand as He recreates the lines and colors of your very being into a righteous work of living art in His image. The Artist of the Universe loves you. Just as you are. Right now, His grace opens the door. His mercy invites you in. And his son already paid your bill! If you haven't met the Master Tattooist, you can. God does have an appointed time for you, but he doesn't take appointments. God takes walk-ins. All walk ins. He's available right now. No waiting. No excuses. Just open your heart and enter... His eternal ink is very real. It's a free gift, but only available through one source...the blood of Jesus. Salvation, your eternal ink, is so simple. God has already done al the work. You need only to ask and receive. But the choice to be inked is yours. Yours alone. His word says that today is the day of salvation. Today is your day to choose. God said, Today I place before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life. Enter His studio and pray... God, I know I've messed up the canvas of my life. I've marked it up with sin... bad ink and bad choices. I ask for your forgiveness. Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and that you deliver me and set me free. Come into my heart and be my Lord and my Savior. Cleanse me, restore me and heal me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Feed me with your Word. Teach me to live by faith and empower me to serve. In your name I pray, Jesus ...Amen. Welcome to God's forever family! The choice you just made has changed your life permanently. Literally! Your canvas has been washed clean. All things have become new. Your spirit has been reborn, recreated in Christ! Thank Him. Give God Praise! Tell someone about what has happened to you and then get ready...expect Gods best. He has some awesome art planned for you! His hand is gentle, His lines are true. His colors are brilliant. And His work is indeed most excellent! Get hold of a Bible and read the Master's after-care instructions. The gospel of John is a good place to start. Read in His Word daily. And pray to your Father. Talk to Him...and listen. |
